Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site and or collected by our software applications. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website and or our software applications, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

RapidRun App Data Collection and Usage

Data Collection
The RapidRun app collects data provided by users during setup and use. This data includes configuration data used to connect RapidRun to the driver's store, including Prism Key and API Key values, as well as the driver's employee number.

The RapidRun app also collects data created during use of the application, including location data as well as transaction and payment collection information. Location data is collected while the app is running in the foreground (visible on screen) or in the background (open but not currently visible.) Location data is only generated and collected during the delivery process, starting when the driver begins a run in the app and ending when the app registers that the driver has checked back in from the run at the store, or after a timeout value has been reached.

The RapidRun app also collects device data, including device platform (Android or iOS) and OS version.

Data Usage
Microworks uses the data collected by RapidRun to enable functionality in the store's Point of Sale system and for customer support, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Location data is used to display the driver's location in the Point of Sale system, as well as displaying it to customers to whom the driver is currently delivering an order.

Device data is used to assist in resolving technical support issues.

Transaction and payment data is used to update the store's Point of Sale system as transactions are processed by the driver.

Data Sharing
Microworks shares the data we collect with the store for whom the driver is working, as well as the store's parent company (if applicable.) All data created during use of the app is sent to the store to enable Point of Sale functionality.

Microworks does not sell or share personal data with third parties for any purpose other than noted above.

Data Retention
Microworks stores personal data for as long as necessary to facilitate the functions outlined above. Transaction and payment data is sent directly to the store and not retained on Microworks servers, while location data is retained for 30 days.

SMS Terms and Conditions
By opting in to receive SMS messages, you agree to the following: receive SMS messages from Microworks POS Solutions, Inc. to provide updates and important information. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP. For help or more information, reply HELP.

Subscribers will receive a confirmation message upon opting in: "You have successfully been subscribed to messages from Microworks POS Solutions from this number. Message frequency may vary.
